Uffizi Gallery tour

Discover an impressive collection of over 1,500 masterpieces from the 12th up to the 16th century. The Uffizi complex’s construction started in 1560, by Giorgio Vasari for Cosimo de’ Medici, to accommodate the offices of the Florentine magistrates, hence the name uffizi, “offices”. The project planned also to display prime art works of the Medici collections, and over the years, more and more sections of the palace were dedicated to exhibit paintings and sculpture collected or commissioned by the family. Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo used to gather at the Uffizi “for beauty, for work and for recreation.”

Boboli Gardens

The Boboli gardens are one of the greatest open-air museums in Florence: a spectacular example of “green architecture” decorated with sculptures and the prototype which inspired many European Royal gardens, in particular, Versailles. Along your walk, you will discover the highlights of the gardens, in particular the Amphitheatre, the Garden of the Cavalier, the Koffeehouse and the Egyptian Obelisk, placed right in the center of the garden, it was brought from Luxor in 1789.

Vespa tour

Spend a delightful day exploring the hills and vineyards of Tuscany on a full-day tour from Florence. Stroll through the medieval streets of San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage of Humanity, visiting its beautiful squares, palaces, churches and the magnificent towers. Continue your day discovering the Chianti region through vineyards and olive groves.

Before heading back to Florence, you will visit Monteriggioni, a medieval fortress built in the 13th century by the Republic of Siena, to create a defensive outpost against its rival, Florence.

Discover the Cinque Terre

Explore the enchanting Cinque Terre region on the Italian north coast on this full-day trip from Florence. Visit charming villages and walk the narrow lanes of Manarola, Riomaggiore, Monterosso and Vernazza: four villages suspended between sea and land, seemingly hanging from sheer cliffs and surrounded by hills and vineyards. The first stop will be in the small village of Manarola, from where you will get the local train to reach Riomaggiore. You will have enough time to visit these two charming towns. By boat you will arrive to Monterosso, and while on board, you will see the Path of Love, a beautiful lane along the edge of the cliff that runs from Manarola to Riomaggiore. Monterosso is an old fishing village considered “the pearl of the Cinque Terre”, with its enchanting beaches and luxuriant vegetation. You will have a chance to swim in the crystal-clear sea and enjoy a traditional light lunch. Continue to Vernazza and experience the intricate layout of this village with its narrow lanes and steep stairways. Afterwards the tour continues to La Spezia, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to Florence.
